Italian supercar fan builds world’s first Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale 'Spider'

When the Ferrari 360 Challenger Stradale came out in 2004, it revolutionised the thrill of driving a 360 supercar from the Italian supercar maker.

The CS, as it is often referred to, is essentially a more hardcore variant of the already impressive 360.

However, Ferrari never made a convertible version of it, leaving the imagination of current owners to run a little bit wild…

One man who calls himself Ratarossa, however, decided to make his own and what a project it turned out to be.

In order to make this one-off track-focused topless Ferrari supercar, Ratarossa had to buy two cars.

The first was his own genuine silver Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale and the second was a red 360 convertible that would be the basis for the build.

Then, over many months, he slowly began swapping parts over from the silver car to the red car.

The parts included the engine, exhaust system, interior, wheels, brakes – the lot.

He didn’t skip a single detail with this unique build and now it’s more or less complete.

Check it out in its final form:
