A treasure trove of 17 abandoned Chevys and Fords was found in the heart of the woods in an unknown location.

The collection included classic 1958 Chevys, vintage 1934 Fords, and various Impalas and pickups.

Their rescue was a major challenge, as these cars were tangled in trees and brush, making their retrieval a major undertaking.

Rescuing them was a big challenge because the cars were tangled in trees and bushes, making it hard to get them out.

Abandoned Chevys and Fords rescued

This incredible rescue mission was documented on YouTube by Mortske Repair.

It was surprising how these cars had remained untouched and hadn’t been crushed, which usually happens with abandoned vehicles.

The plan involved using a skid steer to drag the cars out of their resting spots.

Along with that, chainsaws were needed to clear the way by cutting down trees that blocked access.

A drone was also used to capture aerial footage of the rescue efforts.

The team was well-prepared and equipped with jacks, compressors, and batteries to tackle any issues that came along the way.

As the rescue continued, the crew discovered valuable parts, like a rare four-speed console from an Impala

However, the process was not without its hurdles.

One tree had grown into a car, damaging its fender, but ultimately, the car was released. Getting some cars out, especially a sedan in bad shape, was tough.

A challenging task

To make things worse, the equipment failed them at times.

A chainsaw initially didn’t work, but after some adjustments, it roared back to life, allowing the team to continue their rescue of the abandoned classic cars.

Along the way, they even stumbled upon an old V8 engine and various car parts.

Their find was similar to the classic cars discovered in the woods in East Tennessee.

Finally, the abandoned classics were revived, and the team remained committed to ensuring that these classic vehicles received the love and attention they deserved.
