An abandoned Lamborghini Gallardo supercar has been restored to working order once again, after spending years sitting in a field.

YouTubers and restorers REPerformance UK have been working on the Italian supercar for some time, in an attempt to get the car back to full health.

The supercar has undergone a major transformation. It now runs and drives, and looks as clean as it did when it left the factory.

A recent video on the workshop’s channel details some of the work done to the car after it was recovered from its previous location.

The team explained that they found the supercar after it had been abandoned and hadn’t run for over eight years.

Previous videos have detailed more of the work, with the team getting their hands on the car at the end of 2024.

The car had been stuck in safe mode due to not having any keys programmed.

This meant that two new ones had to be sourced.

It took more work to get the Lamborghini started, as there was no fuel pressure due to seized fuel pumps.

With those replaced, and more work including new spark plugs, the car did finally start, but wouldn’t run.

The transmission pressure hose had a leak that needed fixing.

Other work was done on components such as the brakes.

One other issue is that the car was found in the UK, but was registered in mainland Europe.

That means it can’t get an MOT to legally run in the UK.

Thankfully, the owner of the car is going to sort that out.

But as the video shows, the Lamborghini supercar does now start and drive.

This is similar to Ed Bolian’s quest to get the Victoria’s Secret Lamborghini Diablo running again.

The earlier videos show how bad the abandoned Lamborghini Gallardo once looked, and its transformation to its current state is incredible.

Even the interior has come up well, looking almost like new.

From the workshop guys’ perspectives, this Gallardo project is now complete.

The good news kept coming, as the car will have a life after they fixed it up and got it running again.

It also means one more lost supercar is now back on the road after what looked to be a difficult period for it.

Hopefully, we won’t find this Lamborghini Gallardo in another field anytime soon!
