When this woman paid a visit to an abandoned Saab dealership in Massachusetts, she found a car inside that left the internet stumped.

Content creator madcars_media filmed herself visiting a deserted dealership in the town of Acton, which looked like it was still in fairly good condition.

While she didn’t gain access to the building’s interior, she took a look through the window at the vehicles inside.

And there was one in particular that caught a lot of people’s attention.

What car was inside this Massachusetts dealership?

Several cars could be seen inside this deserted dealership, but one grabbed people’s attention in particular.

And that’s because it looked so wildly out of place.

This car? A Porsche.

Plenty of people piled into the comments section of this video to express their confusion.

“WTF is the Porsche doing in there? It’s a Saab dealer,” one viewer wrote.

“Ah yes, the Saab 911,” another joked.

So what’s the deal? How could this Porsche have ended up here?

Are there any links between Porsche and Saab?

There’s no official link between the two, but Porsche and Saab do have some overlaps when it comes to engineering and talent.

Porsche Engineering is a world-renowned consulting firm that was consulted on the design of the 16-valve cylinder head for the ‘H’ engine.

Michael Mauer has also worked at both companies, working as head of design at both over different periods.

In terms of marketing, there’s been a rivalry between the two, with Saab’s marketing team boasting that the Saab 9000 Aero was faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera.

But none of that explains how a Porsche ends up inside a Saab dealership, does it?

Several commenters suggested that this space was previously used to store a private collection, which could go some way to explaining it.

But ultimately it’s hard to say for sure.

Saab went bankrupt back in 2011, before ceasing production in 2013.

Now, these Saab dealerships and the cars still on the street are all that’s left.

Fortunately, some of them are being given a second chance – just take a look at this British man who turned one former dealership into his dream garage.
