Alpine has showcased its Alpine A110 R Ultime in a new video, where it also teased some ‘really exciting news’ about its future.
Alpine celebrated its 70th anniversary this year and has released a new video that pays homage to its roots while looking ahead to the future.
The clip showcased the ‘final evolution of the iconic A110’: the Alpine A110 R Ultime.
The carmaker has also teased its third-generation A110, which will be an all-electric sports car.

The Alpine A110 R Ultime will be the last gas-powered model
Alpine launched the A110 in 2017, with both its name and design referencing the original A110, which was produced between 1961 and 1977.
The star of the A110 lineup is the Alpine A110 R Ultime, which comes with a 1.8-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that can produce up to 345 horsepower and sends the car flying from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds.

Alpine has said it will build just 110 examples and offer ‘ultra personalization’ for the lucky new owners via its bespoke Atelier packages.
“With the Alpine A110 R Ultime, we wanted to create a grand finale, worthy of the second-generation A110,” Alpine CEO Philippe Krief said.
The car comes with a $290,000 price tag, which can quickly climb if you want to splash out on customizable elements.
The stunning A110 R Ultime was recently showcased in a new video from the carmaker, which also helped set the stage for what’s next.
Alpine has already confirmed that the A110 R Ultime will be the last gas-powered version of the car, but it’s not saying goodbye to the icon altogether.
Instead, a new all-electric model is in the works, and the carmaker is gearing up to share some big news.
“In the first six months of 2026, we will share some really exciting news,” Krief teased.
“The next coming decade is going to be really fun.”

What exactly news we can expect remains to be seen, but according to Autocar, the new EV will be available as both a coupe and a roadster and will run on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP).
The carmaker has said the new electric model will usher in the ‘next chapter’ for the vehicle.
“It looks good, and it does look like an A110 should,” Alpine UK’s general manager Nicola Burnside told Autocar.
It’s not the only new EV Alpine has in the works
As well as the upcoming EV A110, Alpine is also working on the all-electric A310 fastback GT.

According to reports, the four-seater will be offered with either a fixed roof or as a convertible, and will run on the new APP.
For now, details on the car have been kept strictly under wraps, but it’s been suggested that the A310 will take design cues from the recently released A390.
