American Airlines passengers thought they were finally on their way to Hawaii when the pilot dropped a curveball – he wasn’t ‘feeling it,’ and refused to fly.
Instead of boos, the clip posted to YouTube by Johnny Jet shows the cabin breaking into applause.
It was already their third aircraft of the day, and while the system said the plane was safe, the captain’s gut told him otherwise.
No one wanted to gamble on a mid-ocean emergency, and the passengers’ response said it all.
