The percentage of Americans who are actually in the position to purchase and run a Bugatti is next to none, so what does the average successful citizen do? They go out looking for a replica.
What you are looking at here is not a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
This is actually a 2004 Pontiac GTO dressed up to look like a $2 million Veyron.

It is powered by a 350hp LS1 V8 engine that has also been dressed up to look like the Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged W16 engine – complete with badges and all.
This build was up for sale on eBay for $150,000.
It may seem like a lot for an old Pontiac, but serious work has gone into this creation behind the scenes.
Its owner and creator spent a lot of time and effort to make this perfect and clearly states in the ad that “it is not one of those Fiero-sized replicas,” giving us the impression that this is broadly the same size as a real Veyron.
Of course, it doesn’t sound, look, feel, or drive anything like a real Bugatti Veyron, but it isn’t the worst-looking replica out there.

However, according to the listing, it is no longer for sale. That either means someone snapped it up and is enjoying it on the public roads or it didn’t sell and the owner is just drooling over it at home. We will never know.
The seller signed off the eBay advert by saying: “I am not the builder, I bought this car for fun so I can make it look and drive even better, but I have too many exotics that need my attention at the moment and it’s just taking too much of my time.
“This car may need minor things done to it. Why pay 2M for the real one when you can have it in your garage for only 150K.”
