UK singer Amy Macdonald made a fortune with her music, and – of course – she did what most celebrities do.
She went ahead and spent that fortune.
At one point, the 37-year-old singer owned 32 cars.
But now she said she’s sold nearly all of them because – this is a quote – she ‘grew up’.

Amy Macdonald and her epiphany moment
Speaking to the Daily Record, Macdonald admitted she’s always been a huge car fan.
Macdonald has owned, among other things, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi R-8, and a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a track-focused version of the instant classic 458 Italia.
Before the pandemic, she said she was just about to buy a Veyron, or at least that she was considering it.
But she didn’t because that’s when she ‘grew up’, and realized she didn’t need 32 cars.

“I like to drive but I’ve found, as I’ve got older, that I’m not as obsessive as I was when I was younger,” she told the Daily Record.
“Now I only have two [cars],” she said.
The most expensive car in her collection
Macdonald was born in Scotland, one of four countries that comprise the UK, and still lives here.
Right between ‘season one’ and ‘season two’ of Covid, around the winter of 2020, Macdonald posted pictures of herself driving a McLaren Senna around Scotland’s main race track, Knockhill.
It’s unclear whether she owned the car or just drove it around the track, but this is definitely the most expensive car we’ve seen her in.

This is the sort of car collectors buy and never drive, which is what the millionaire who literally parked it inside his penthouse clearly did.
Only 500 units were built, including several limited-edition modes such as the LM and GTR, and the one-off ‘XP’.
