A car salesman from Arizona at a blue oval dealership says he’s noticed a strange phenomenon in customers of the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
In a video posted to TikTok, the salesman showed an example of a customer’s new truck with the changes made.
He said most buyers do it — at least those who buy from him.
And he doesn’t understand why.

All Ford F-150 Raptor R customers are doing one bizarre thing
The TikTok user, who is also a salesman at a Ford dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona, posted a video about something that all Ford F-150 Raptor R customers do.
It’s a strange phenomenon, which is also largely unheard of.
The salesman, who goes by @captaindriver on TikTok, said that every single person he sold a Raptor R to asked him to remove the stickers.

Stickers here refer to the stock decals that come standard on the Raptor R.
“One thing I noticed about every single Raptor R customer I’ve sold, they always want me to remove the graphics,” he said while showing a customer’s newly-bought truck.
He also referred to other anecdotes of customers who had just paid the money for it and immediately ‘yanked’ the stickers off of it.
The unusual sticker peel-off
Although it’s uncertain why people do it, it might just be because of their appearance.
Maybe they want a clean-looking truck.
After all, the Ford F-150 Raptor R is one of the most capable pickup trucks ever built.
It’s also why Joe Rogan bought himself one for his birthday.
Powered by a jaw-dropping 5.2-liter V8 powerhouse, it can outmatch most of its competitors.
Granted, it lost in a drag race against the Tesla Cybertruck — but that was an exception, so to speak.
It’s not just the Raptor R that’s incredible — the Ford F-Series trucks became America’s best-selling vehicles for the 43rd consecutive year.
As for the strange phenomenon this TikTok user noticed, it’s likely a massive coincidence.
Interestingly, Ford sells the same stickers that most customers remove as an option on top of the MSRP for $1,800.
“Maybe there’s a reason why I can’t afford one. But I would keep the stickers on. I don’t know. What would you do,” the salesman said in the end.
At least those stickers aren’t as bizarre as these ‘B plates’ stickers launched in the UK.
