As the Toyota Land Cruiser returns to America in 2025, one specialist company has created an immaculate armored mod that can withstand explosions and bullets.
Toyota has already seen mass success in America with the RAV4, unseating the Ford F-150 as the most popular new car.
But the Japanese company is now bringing back the Land Cruiser to conquer the off-road industry once again.
One company has taken the already impressive blueprint of the model and created a fully armored beast that can swat grenades away like they’re nothing but bubbles.

This Toyota Land Cruiser is grenade and bulletproof
We’ve already established why the Toyota Land Cruiser is the ‘GOAT’ off-roader. But what would make this iconic car even better?
Grenade-proof armor, that’s what
Inkas Armored, is a Canadian manufacturer that builds bullet and grenade-proof luxury sedans and armored SUVs. And they recently showcased a new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 build.
The ferociously defended Land Cruiser has a ‘BR6’ armor rating, which is standard across most of Inkas Armored’s vehicles. It’s the highest level of protection you can add to your car without a permit.

The bulk of Cruiser’s defense comes from reinforcing the surrounding shell and engine with plate armor. All of which creates a ‘360º perimeter protection.’
It’s not just a gimmick, either. Their meticulous attention is highlighted in a ballistic door overlap system to prevent bullets from entering the seams of windows.
The wheels are also reinforced with polycarbonate inserts to help drivers continue in the case of flats, which would be handy in bullet zones.
Military-grade reinforced glass completes the windows too – stronger than the Cybertruck’s.

There is a worry that the standard 326hp 2.4L hybrid engine wouldn’t be able to handle the additional weight. And that’s before you add in seven geared-up passengers as well.
However, the company offers alternative engine sizes, which could easily tune this into a monstrous vehicle that can cope with the additional poundage.
The company has previously created other magnificent armored vehicles, such as a Cadillac Escalade and a Titan-DS SWAT which Alex Hirschi – AKA Supercar Blondie – previewed.
If the off-road Toyota Land Cruiser isn’t your speed though, fear not. The 2024 Rezvani BEAST is an armored supercar that combines security and speed with a 2.5-second 0-60mph clock.
