It is every movie fan’s wildest dream to own a piece of the real-life set, and now, for car fans, Christmas may have come slightly early, with these Fast & Furious stunt SUVs coming to auction.

Yes, that’s right, the very vehicles that were used on the big screen in the 2019 movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.

But to own the gloating rights of a real-life prop, you’ll have to be able to accept that they come looking a little worse for wear.

However, it’s not all bad, as each huge SUV is brought to life by a powerful engine that has clearly withstood chaos.

Lights, camera, and now auction?

Movie fans, listen up as the iconic SUVs from the Fast & Furious are hitting the auction block, and the damage from the stunts is still very much evident.

Now, it’s not the first time that we’ve seen these cars, as a YouTuber previously documented them heading to auction in July.

But now, they’re back and better than ever, with Mecum Auctions facilitating the sale in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 30

Described as a ‘trio of vehicles used in the movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, the cars are being sold all together.

They were built as ‘action hero vehicles’ meaning that they got lots of screen time, and as a result, have a whole load of interesting features that you wouldn’t usually find on a standard SUV.

From the LED light bar to the custom pod lighting and even a ‘Matte Smoke Gray Custom wrap’, the cars are movie-ready.

There is one huge catch, though, the vehicles actually all still have their on-screen damage very much on show.

It’s what’s inside that really counts when it comes to the Fast & Furious stunt SUVs

If you’re partial to a clean, well-kept car, then look away now, as these SUVs have all very much taken a wild ride during their five minutes of fame.

Inside, the cabin is packed with dirt, and the outside speaks for itself.

As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words.

From beaten-up bumpers to fake weapons and even a crushed windshield, it’s clear to see that the cars have seen better days.

But, of course, to withstand all that power and drive at speed, the cars need a huge powerhouse of an engine to drive the movie action forward, and these huge SUVs certainly do not disappoint.

Underneath the hood of each vehicle lies a 4.4-liter, V-8 engine with an automatic transmission, and even a ‘Wilwood skid brake system with an extra brake pedal’. Talk about high-tech.

However, for all the impressive movie modifications, it should be noted that the huge Fast & Furious stunt SUVs may not even pass technical inspection.

So, it’s a small price to pay; that means you may not actually be able to drive them, but at least you’ll own a piece of iconic car history, right?
