An iconic Transformers Mustang is hitting the auction block very soon.
This Transformers Mustang is an extremely special car – because it actually starred onscreen.
It is the exact 2016 Ford Mustang GT that played Decepticon cop Barricade in Transformers: The Last Knight.
And this 5.0-liter GT beast is expected to fetch half a million dollars on the auction block.

At this point, you might be asking yourself – this can’t really be the Transformers Mustang, can it?
Well, it absolutely is – and it comes with a very interesting background story.
This particular car was built from the ground up by Kustom Creations.
It was then purchased by Paramount Pictures for the price of $131,970.80 – we’re not too sure about the specific pricing, either.

Anyway, this Mustang was given law enforcement-style graphics, a giant rear wing, full police lighting, a menacing front bumper, and a widebody kit.
It features a decal saying:
“Keep calm and Hail Megatron”
Because of course it does.
And that’s because this Transformers Mustang is the actual car that portrayed Barricade.
Transformers Mustang plays important role in series
For those of you who aren’t avid Transformers fans, allow us to fill in the blanks.
Barricade serves as one of the higher-ranking Decepticon figures – the bad guys, basically.
In the first film, Barricade is tasked with tracking down Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) because his grandfather’s glasses contain coordinates to locate the AllSpark.
When the Autobots and Decepticons head to Earth to find the AllSpark, they morph into car form.
And Barricade takes the form of a police patrol car – mostly different iterations of the Ford Mustang.

For Transformers: The Last Knight, Barricade gets an upgrade to a 2016 Ford Mustang GT.
The 5.0-liter V8 and six-speed manual perfectly match the aggressive nature of serving as a Decepticon enforcer.
This Transformers Mustang is currently being offered by Curated Vintage Supercars.
It is being listed for $499,999 – and could well exceed that mark by some margin.
With just 800 miles on this silver screen star, would you be happy owning a Decepticon?
