A rare red 2005 Ford GT that once belonged to the late Paul Walker is up for sale at auction, and it’s already attracted some big bids.
Walker is best known for playing car-loving Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious movie franchise.
But he wasn’t just a big-time car guy on screen, off-screen, he amassed an incredible collection of cars.
And now one of them, a super-rare Ford GT, is going under the hammer.

The 2005 Ford GT has a very rare paintjob
Paul Walker had a top-notch collection of cars, which included a Nissan R32-GT-R, several BMW E36 M3 Lightweight models, a 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 320S, and an Audi S4.
He also owned a 2005 Ford GT, and it’s an absolute beauty.

The GT is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission that offers up to 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
It’s had some aftermarket modifications, including a new exhaust system and an ECU tune.
It’s also been given some aftermarket 19- and 20-inch ADV.1 twin-spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The 2005 Ford GT has just 3,700 miles on the clock and, as you might have guessed, is in incredible shape.
But what makes this car particularly rare is its paintwork.
The car is finished in Mark IV Red, but doesn’t have racing stripes.
Inside, the Ford GT features an Ebony leather interior with a bare aluminum floor, rubber mats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The car comes with keyless entry, a CD player, air conditioning, and a push-button ignition.

Alongside the wheels and tires on the car, the sale includes a set of BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
The 2005 Ford GT is currently listed for sale on Bring A Trailer, and bids have already hit a whopping $550,000 with a week left to go.
The GT isn’t the only chance to get your hands on a car driven by Paul Walker
The rare Ford GT isn’t the only car that has been driven by Paul Walker that is set to go under the hammer.
Bonhams is gearing up to auction off a 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII that the star drove in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious.
The car clocked up around 15 minutes of screentime in the sequel, with Walker behind the wheel.
Much like the Ford GT, the Mitsubishi is expected to fetch a high price at auction, with a valuation between $289,500 and $579,000.
