This Tesla Model S was bid a fond farewell after proving a very loyal daily driver to one lucky owner in the Old North State.
The shiny red sedan had stood the test of time after 11 years of completing many journeys.
During its time on the road, the car did an impressive amount of mileage, but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
The car is in an admirable condition, but a can of WD40 may come in handy.

So long, farewell to this Tesla after its owner puts it up for auction
Another car has hit the auction block looking for a new owner, and this time it’s a Tesla Model S 85 with a whopping 186,800 miles on the clock.
Clearly well-loved and driven to the max, the rear-wheel drive Tesla is finished in a Red Multi Coat color, with a Grey interior.
The features are classic with 19-inch factory wheels and the simple panoramic glass roof, along with the enviable electric powertrain that took the world by storm all those years ago.

Capable of an impressive 362hp, all coming from a lone electric motor alongside an 85kWh lithium-ion battery, there’s life in the EV yet.
Carbon fiber decor and dual-zone climate control also come as standard in the sedan, suggesting that the in-cabin experience is top-notch.

What’s more, it is also largely un-modded and delivered in its natural form, well… all apart from the Torklift 1.5 inch receiver hitch.
Over time, like any cell, the battery has suffered some degradation, with a range of 225 miles now available compared to the original amount of 265, but you have to admit, it’s lasted well.
Here’s the real deal with the Model S
First released way back in 2012, the EV set standards in the car world, and it is easily one of the brand’s most recognizable models.
The Model S has seen many upgrades and refreshes during its time in production, with it still being a popular choice amongst car enthusiasts over a decade after its initial release.
But, for such an old frontrunner, this example on Cars & Bids has some aspects that will need some TLC.

After driving all those miles, the exterior shell of the car has come off looking a little worse for wear, with some scratches, dings, and chips alongside the driver’s side curb rash evident.
Other aspects that will need evening out include worn tires, some service alerts that are reported to be glowing, and a ‘loud whine’ from the drive unit.
The interior will need some attention, too, but hey, the car is still quite something.
It’s not all bad, as the Tesla Model S comes with a clean CarFax report, a spare wheel, and some adapters, and the manual, proving that the owner has taken care of it.
The bidding is still open for a few more days, but be quick, as it currently sits at a $2,000 bid.
We should also mention it has no reserve either, so it’s sure to be in high demand; only time will tell.
