This abandoned Audi R8 that was left parked for five years looks like a whole new car after being cleaned up.
It’s always a shame to see a car left to rot, but when the car in question is an Audi R8 it feels almost criminal.
The stunning supercar had been sitting outside an empty house for years.
Fortunately, RJ and Brent from the WD Detailing YouTube channel were on hand to give it a much needed sprucing up.

The Audi R8 was in a sorry state
The guys from WD Detailing have got plenty of experience in this arena, previously transforming this abandoned Chevy monster truck with the help of some soap and water.
They also gave this Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer its first wash in 28 years.
For the Audi R8 they joined forces with fellow detailer, Detail Dane.
Taking a look at the flash car, the guys couldn’t help but joke: ‘This must be where Tony Stark left his car.”
But it’s safe to say Mr Stark wouldn’t be happy with it in the state they found it.
The poor Audi R8 was covered in dust, dirt, cobwebs, and rotting leaves.
Meanwhile, the inside hadn’t fared much better with mold covering the once-plush seats.
And that wasn’t even the worst of it – a family of mice had managed to chew through the lines meaning that car couldn’t be lifted off the ground.
In the end, it took the team around an hour to get the Audi out and another two to get it on the trailer.
The detailers managed to get it gleaming again
This was when the real work could begin and they quickly set about power washing the exterior, followed up with a brush to manually remove any bits left over.
Within minutes the car looked transformed, but it still wasn’t up to the exacting standards of the detailers who then steamed the interiors, before removing the seats and giving them a jet wash.
With the seats back inside all that was left was to repair the damage to the paintwork and give the whole thing a polish to get it gleaming again.
They even managed to get the engine going again.
A job well done.
