The Bentley Continental GT Supersports arrives as a lighter and more focused take on the Continental GT, with direct links to the Supersports badge and a revised V8 engine.

It features structural changes, new suspension tuning, and a two-seat layout that removes the rear cabin entirely.

Bentley has added a new aerodynamic package and recalibrated the chassis systems to suit the more concentrated setup.

The result is a Continental GT variant that follows a different brief from the rest of the range.

Inside the Supersports upgrades

The Continental GT Supersports uses an updated 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 666PS and 800Nm.

The V8 engine works through a revised dual clutch gearbox that delivers quicker shifts, and the titanium exhaust gives the car a more distinct and less muted sound.

Weight reduction is central to the engineering program.

A carbon fibre roof, lighter forged wheels, and the removal of the rear seats bring the total mass of the Continental GT Supersports beneath the two-ton threshold.

Additional reductions come from altered sound insulation and simplified interior components.
Rear Wheel Drive is a first for a road-going Continental GT.

An electronically limited slip differential manages traction at the rear axle, and the wider rear track adds stability during higher speed changes in direction.

The suspension settings use recalibrated dampers and updated anti-roll control to provide more direct feedback to the driver.

Optional Pirelli Trofeo RS tyres increase lateral grip and allow the Continental GT Supersports to carry more speed through corners.

Outside, the exterior follows a practical layout. A larger front splitter, stacked dive planes, longer sills, and a fixed rear wing combine with a deeper rear diffuser to manage airflow and increase downforce.

These elements give the Continental GT Supersports a different stance from the standard car.

Inside, the cabin features lightweight bucket seats positioned lower in the structure, along with carbon fibre trim and pared-back materials chosen to reduce weight.

Every Supersports model carries its own build number as part of the limited run of 500 cars.

Where the Continental GT Supersports fits next

This Continental GT Supersports joins the Bentley lineup during a period of change as the company develops electric models in parallel with updated internal combustion cars.

The Supersports name has appeared only a few times in Bentley history and has been used on models with a more focused driving brief than the broader Continental GT range.

As a newer version, this Continental follows that pattern by reducing mass and relying on a more straightforward mechanical setup to shape its behaviour.

Orders for the Continental GT Supersports open in March 2026, with production planned for late 2026 and first deliveries expected in early 2027 across major markets.

The combination of a lighter build, rear-wheel drive, and an updated V8 engine positions the car as a distinct choice within the Bentley catalogue while the brand prepares for its next phase of development.
