British marque masters the art of road luxury
By now, you’re probably familiar with the high-end British brand.
In case you aren’t, check out our definitive guide to all things Bentley.
To give you the short rundown – it’s been building some of the best cars in the world since 1919.
The English marque is still, in fact, headquartered in Crewe, England.
In 2003, Bentley introduced the car that would change the game forever.

That year, the Continental GT, a luxury grand tourer that would become the marque’s standard bearer, was born.
Bentley’s flagship has gone from strength to strength for over 20 years – and remains its core vehicle.
The brand also recently stepped into the luxury SUV space with the Bentayga.
In essence, the marque approaches everything it does with excellence, craftsmanship, and a focus on performance.
Bentley goes electric for most of its lineup
The most striking aspect of Bentley’s announcement was the evolution of the brand.
More specifically, the British marque has announced the introduction of a new hybrid powertrain.
This 4.0-liter, V8 hybrid is expanding across its Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur.
It’s new hybrid powertrain reportedly produces 670HP and 685LB-FT of torque.

This means that the new powertrain sits just under the top-of-the-range Speed model variations.
However, this new hybrid powertrain will still outperform the previous generation Speed in every metric.
The brand new hybrid engine reportedly produces a time of 0-60 in just under 3.5 seconds.
What’s equally interesting is that the new 4.0-liter, V8 hybrid provides 53 miles of pure-electric range.
For a large, luxury grand tourer, those seem like pretty impressive numbers to us.
