Our best Celebrity stories from 2025

1. Jay Leno and his brand new Ford Mustang GTD

Back in August, ex-late-night host Jay Leno showed up uninvited to a Toyota Supra meet in his brand new Ford Mustang GTD and instantly pulled all the attention.

The GTD makes 815hp from its 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine and can do 0-60 in just over three seconds, making it look like a car from another planet next to the Supras.

Only about 1,000 GTDs will be built; Leno owns number 12, and it was personally delivered to him by Ford CEO Jim Farley.

2. Taylor Swift and her private jet

No one can argue that 2025 hasn’t been Tay Tay’s year, and her private jet has been hitting the headlines because it’s the classiest way she can get around the globe.

Taylor Swift’s private jet is a custom Dassault Falcon 7X worth about $54 million, designed and personalized to match her tastes.

Inside, it features plush leather seating, wood accents, a gourmet galley, and even a private stateroom that turns it into a home in the sky.

The jet can fly almost 6,000 nautical miles nonstop, letting her travel long distances comfortably and efficiently.

3) Mark Zuckerberg and his wife’s custom Porsche minivan

Mark Zuckerberg’s wife wanted a minivan, so he turned a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT into a completely custom family minivan with help from West Coast Customs.

The build stretched the frame, added sliding rear doors, and fit a third row of seats to create a mix of minivan and luxury SUV.

It still kept the original twin-turbo V8 engine, giving it supercar-level performance while working as a practical family vehicle.

4. Shaq restored Kobe Bryant’s Land Cruiser for his mom

A few months ago, Shaquille O’Neal restored a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, the same SUV Kobe Bryant drove in high school, and gave it to Kobe’s mother as a tribute for what would have been Kobe’s 47th birthday.

The Land Cruiser had been sitting for years in rough condition, but Effortless Motors brought it back to life with fresh paint, a refreshed interior, and a full mechanical overhaul.

The project honors both the sentimental history of the SUV and Kobe’s legacy.

5. Lewis Hamilton completely emptied his garage

In a move that shocked the supercar world, racer Lewis Hamilton has sold off his entire car collection, which was previously valued at around $13-$15 million, leaving his garage completely empty.

He said he no longer enjoyed owning modern supercars and has lost interest in keeping them.

The racecar driver is now focusing his passion and money on collecting art instead. We did not have this on our Celebrity stories 2025 bingo card.
