A Chinese billionaire used a crane and iron cage to hoist his Rolls-Royce Ghost up to his 44th-floor penthouse apartment.
In an eye-popping display of wealth, the billionaire – who lives in China’s Fujian province – arranged for the luxury car to be brought up to his apartment.
It appears that the owner of the swish of Rolls-Royce Ghost wanted to put the vehicle on display on his terrace.
But getting it up there was a tricky operation.

The owner put the Rolls-Royce Ghost on display in his penthouse
Somewhat bizarrely, this isn’t the first time a wealthy car-lover has decided to use a high-end motor as an ornament.
Australian Adrian Portelli enlisted the help of a crane to lift his McLaren Senna GTR a whopping 57 stories to his penthouse apartment.
And over in the US, a $1.7 million McLaren Elva was lifted 48 stories to the penthouse at the ‘First Light’ luxury tower in Seattle.
Meanwhile, in China – this billionaire used a crane and an iron cage to carefully lift his beloved Rolls-Royce Ghost 44 floors.
With a starting price of around $350,000 and weighing a hefty 2.7 tons – getting the Rolls-Royce Ghost 44 stories high is no easy task.
The 2.7 ton motor was gently lifted 44 stories into the air
The vehicle was safely placed inside an iron cage, presumably to protect it from knocks and scrapes, and was then gently lifted into the air by the crane.
Footage of the car in motion shows it being secured to the metal frame before slowly rising into the air and coming stop outside the penthouse apartment.
Waiting in the penthouse was a whole team of workers who are able to bring the Rolls-Royce onto the terrace where it took pride of place.
Of course, the whole thing means that the car will no longer be able to take to the road anytime soon.
But we’re guessing the guy who was able to splash out on this has a pretty well-stocked garage to keep him mobile.
