A billionaire spent $33,000 on a purple paint job for his Aston Martin Valkyrie.
And it made an already sensational hypercar even more regal.
But now it appears that said billionaire has had a change of heart.
Because he then decided to sell it after just 60 miles of ownership.

Argentine billionaire goes all out
Finding an Aston Martin Valkyrie for sale is a pretty rare occurrence.
But finding one like this is akin to finding a multi-million-dollar hypercar needle in a haystack.
That is because this Aston Martin Valkyrie is even more special than usual.

For one thing, it comes with one of the rarest paint jobs anyone can buy.
Its purchaser – Argentine billionaire Alejandro Roemmers – spent $33,000 on the paint.
And he did so for a very good reason.

The official name of the paint job in question is ‘Storm’ Purple Gloss’.
And it is certainly a color that you might never have seen before.
Despite having been available on other marque models in the past, it is extraordinarily rare.
And the $33,000 paint job is only the beginning of the box-ticking options.
Over $320,000 in options have been added to this particular Valkyrie.

The aluminum honeycomb alloy wheels are a $53,000 option.
And that exposed carbon fiber bodywork? Another $60,000.
What makes this all so fascinating, though, is the fact that the billionaire is now selling.
After just 60 miles of ownership, Roemmers is parting with this mechanical masterpiece.
When you see the level of customization, the level of interest becomes a lot more understandable.
Aston Martin Valkyrie is F1 on the road

The Aston Martin Valkyrie itself is a hypercar that requires no introduction.
It is, of course, the personal brainchild of Aston Martin F1 designer, Adrian Newey.
And it is pretty much as close to road-going Formula 1 that you will ever get.
It comes with a screaming and rip-roaring Cosworth-developed V12 engine.
Oh – and it makes 1,176hp, just in case you forgot.

This particular example, owned by Roemmers, is chassis no. 39 of 85.
And it all adds up to perhaps the closest thing to a museum piece as you will ever see.
If you happen to have around $4,00,000 lying around, then look no further than the auction with Broad Arrow.
