A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner pilot took off vertically in a jaw-dropping display of prowess and pilot control.

A video from Boeing from 10 years ago shows the Dreamliner undergoing rehearsals ahead of its airshow display at the 2015 Paris Air Show.

The display featured a vertical take-off. It showed how maneuverable an airliner can be when it’s lighter on fuel and with no passengers onboard.

It also shows us how skilled the pilots of these aircraft are. They feel very comfortable throwing the big airliner around like it is a fighter jet.
