This is the Bombardier Global 8000, the fastest business jet in history.

Flying at Mach 0.95, the 8000 is even faster than most airliners.

It’s also big, with enough room for up to four living spaces.

But as you might expect, it doesn’t come cheap.

The fastest business jet in history is faster than most airliners

Unveiled at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention in Las Vegas, the Bombardier Global 8000 is the fastest business jet in the world.

It can reach a top speed of Mach 0.95 – equivalent to 1,173KM/H – and that makes it faster than most airliners, including the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737.

Not only that, it also has an incredible range of 8,000 nautical miles, which means it can go from (nearly) any point A to any point B across the globe.

For reference, an 8,000-nautical-mile range means you can travel from Tokyo to Los Angeles or from London to Western Australia without stopping.

Inside, you’ve got enough room for four living spaces, and the aircraft is obviously fully customizable.

You can have two suites and two lounges, or three suites and a living room – you name it.

The only downside is the price.

The price for a new Bombardier Global 8000 is between $78 million and $82 million, depending on options and customizations.

Still, at least it’s cheaper than a private Boeing 747.

Who’s buying an $80 million dollar jet?

It sounds like a cliche but it isn’t: the rich are getting richer.

Earlier this year, Elon Musk became the first person in history to achieve a net worth of $500 billion.

That may be the tip of the iceberg, but even ‘regular’ celebrities are becoming wealthier than ever.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Taylor Swift – both frequent private jet users – are billionaires.

The demand is there, and so is the money.

This is why aerospace companies are focusing on building newer, bigger, better jets.

And amazingly, the pool of potential customers is getting bigger, not smaller.
