In the slowest hijacking in history, a Brazilian man opened his car door one morning to find a surprise stowaway, a sloth hanging from his car’s steering wheel.
73-year-old Antônio Luiz Laghi was preparing for an appointment when he was stopped in his tracks by the sleepy stowaway.
Laghi’s son said his dad had left the car’s window open overnight, not realizing that it would be the perfect entrance for a local sloth looking for a place to hang out.
Maybe it’s safer to stay off the roads in Brazil, as there are clearly some drivers who keep falling asleep at the wheel, even though they’re cute.

Imagine going about your day, and when you open your car door to get to a doctor’s appointment, you find a sloth behind the wheel of your ride.
It sounds wild, but it’s not the first time a surprise animal has been found behind the wheel.
That was what happened for 73-year-old Antônio Luiz Laghi, who found a sleepy sloth hanging off his steering wheel.
Laghi lives in Manaus, a Brazilian town next to a large jungle. So it was clear that this slow stowaway, or slowaway, traveled from the adjacent forest and settled in his vehicle.

Bruno Laghi, Antônio’s son, said his dad had left his car window open to get some cool air in the vehicle overnight. But had inadvertently given the animal the perfect entrance.
Sloths spend the majority of their lives living in trees, but will come down from time to time to find food or go to the toilet. Hopefully for Antônio, he only came down to find food and not for the latter.
Laghi’s doorman helped him to carefully remove the sloth from the wheel and return the sleepy creature to the jungle.
We missed this Fast & Furryous film when it was in cinemas. But instead of speeding, this guy would definitely get pulled over for driving too far under the speed limit.
