A typical British family home that was recently put up for sale is hiding a seriously impressive flight simulator in one of its rooms.
Flight simulators are the ultimate goal of many aviation enthusiasts, who use them for entertainment and education.
It allows them to get a real feel for what it’s like to take to the skies, carry out tricky take-offs and landings, and explore the globe – all from the comfort of their homes.
And it seems one enthusiast has spent a lot of time and money setting theirs up in this otherwise-normal family home in Hull, England.

It’s an absolutely incredible setup, tucked away in a bedroom
There are some seriously cool and unusual properties out there, like this villa in Dubai that has an underwater garage, or this millionaire who has a former Red Bull F1 racing car in his living room.
But what makes this home in Hull stand out is the fact that from the outside, it doesn’t really stand out.

The large three-bedroom detached property looks like any other well-presented, modern family home you might see in any city in the UK.
Even stepping through the door and taking a look around, you’ll come across neatly designed and nicely decorated rooms, ideal for raising a family.
However, tucked away in one of the upstairs bedrooms is a top-notch flight simulator that comes with all the bells and whistles.
The other standard bedroom has basically been transformed into a full-scale cockpit and comes complete with multiple screens, seating for the pilot and co-pilot, and a plethora of dials, buttons, switches, and gauges.
In fact, if it weren’t for the large windows to the side of the room, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were actually inside a cockpit.

It’s plane to see, a flight simulator is serious business
The owner of this home has clearly poured a lot of time and love into their flight simulator set up, and they’re certainly not the only ones.
Many enthusiasts will start off buying and playing programs like Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3D on their PCs.
But over time, some of those hobbyists will upgrade from their simple desktop setups to fully immersive home cockpits, like this man who built a Boeing 737-800 flight simulator in his garage, or this ultra-realistic one that was shared on Reddit.
One guy even went shopping at an old plane boneyard to pick up pieces to make his flight sim, as realistic as possible.
