This $4 million Bugatti Bolide is anxiety-inducing to look at

The Bugatti Bolide hypercar is striking to look at, but it can also be anxiety-inducing – just check out this Bugatti windshield, for example.

The Bolide is expensive, which means that everything about it is also expensive.

Even the slightest damage can end up costing a fortune to fix.

And we found one with a seemingly minor issue that might cost thousands of dollars to fix.

A content creator who goes by Eric Choi on social media shared a video of a Bugatti Bolide with a chipped windshield.

This is the sort of thing that could potentially give car lovers a heart attack.

More to the point, this little chip is probably giving this Bolide owner nightmares, and it’ll also force them to break out their checkbook.

No one (apart from Bugatti, of course) knows how much a Bugatti windshield replacement for a Bolide is, but we do know that a new Bugatti windshield for the Chiron costs around $60,000.

And the one in the Bolide is probably even more expensive than that.

This is a recurring theme, to be honest.

Supercars are expensive to buy and even more expensive to run.

An oil change in a Bugatti Veyron, for example, costs $25,000, and you can buy a new car for that.

Bugatti also recommends you replace the fuel tank, front brake discs and pads, and even the turbochargers after just four years.

This could add well over $200,000 to your bill that particular year.

Add in the insurance cost, which will be high, and gas usage bills, which will also likely be high.

All told, the annual fees of owning a supercar or any other performance vehicle could be huge.

Then again, the Bolide is a $4+ million vehicle, which means the owner can certainly afford a new windshield.
