17-year-old goes to the DMV to take his driver's test in a Bugatti Chiron in the ultimate flex

A driver’s test isn’t the setting in which you expect someone to be flexing, but that’s exactly what this 17-year-old did when he showed up in a Bugatti Chiron.

For many people, driving tests are a nerve-wracking experience.

After all, they come with a ton of pressure, and all bets are off if you make even the smallest of mistakes.

But for one young man, he decided to up the ante by arriving to the DMV in a total beast of a car.

Driving tests can turn into nightmare experiences

For many aspiring drivers, the thought of a driving test is enough to induce sweaty palms and an upset stomach.

And that’s not even including the totally unforgiving tests dished out in countries like China.

Even booking the test can be a challenge of your will and patience, let alone sitting it.

There are plenty of people who can ace it, as one man did with just six hours of lessons under his belt.

But they’re not for the faint of heart – even someone who drives for a living, like James May, can run into some difficulties.

So with all of that in mind, you have to imagine someone who would bring a Bugatti Chiron to a driving test would be pretty confident, right?

What happens when you show up to your driving test in a Bugatti Chiron?

For 17-year-old Matt, his driving test was going to be a day to remember.

Sitting behind the wheel of a Bugatti Chiron is bound to be intimidating for anyone.

But for a high schooler looking to get his license? We can only imagine the pressure.

YouTuber TheStradman picked Matt up from his high school and took him along to the DMV.

First up, Matt had to pass his vehicle safety check and then he could take the hypercar out onto the streets with an instructor in tow.

A camera was popped in the back of the car, giving viewers a literal back row seat to the action.

It was enough to give us second-hand nerves, but Matt was as cool as a cucumber throughout.

Did he pass his driving test in the end?

When the test came to an end, it was time for the moment of truth.

“You only got one marking – your accelerating at one point was a little jerky,” the examiner explained.

“But that’s it – you’ve passed!”

It was a triumphant moment for Matt, and he got to celebrate in style with TheStradman by picking up some food at the McDonald’s Drive-Thru.

Chicken nuggets sound like a pretty perfect way to toast getting your license, we have to admit.

Does this mean DMVs across the land will see an influx of supercars rolling up for driving tests?

Unlikely.

These are already high-pressure situations, and we doubt many people will want to add a million-dollar hypercar into the mix.
