Bugatti Tourbillon is a pure work of art, and similar to Rome, its design was not made in a day.

It all started in February 2022, when the design team presented proposals for the new car.

This started the journey of the world’s most anticipated hypercar ever made.

From simple sketches to the actual car that seems to have jumped straight from dreams into reality — Bugatti Tourbillon’s journey is worth sharing

Design proposals for Bugatti Tourbillon

From sketches, the designs evolved into CAD models — in basic terms, the 3D representations of the various designs selected by the engineers.

Each design was then turned into a full-size painted model, to make it easier for the team to finalize the design for the Bugatti Tourbillon.

After a thorough review of each model by the board, the present design was finalized, which also represents the future of the Bugatti brand.

The company has also shared a behind-the-scenes video that chronicles the long and intense process of the car’s development.

You may be also wondering, who are the minds behind this iconic hypercar?

The design team included design legends like Frank Heyl, Achim Anscheidt, Benjamin Arabov, and also the world-famous watchmaker, Jacob Arabo.

Yes, you read that right, the Bugatti Tourbillon also has a touch given by the founder of the luxury watch brand Jacob & Co.

And it’s instantly noticeable as soon as you ogle at the car’s steering wheel.

Bugatti Tourbillon has an aggressive look, but is the supercar all about looks? Far from that.

The car has more than just looks

With 1800 horsepower unleashed from its naturally aspirated V16 engine, this hypercar is built to dominate anything in its path.

With only 250 units planned, this beast from Bugatti is only limited to those who truly acknowledge the thrill of speed.

The deliveries for the supercar start in 2026.

The car’s journey from its design to the actual supercar shows what it means to be passionate about cars.
