One of America’s largest and most iconic luxury car brands, unveiled its all-electric luxury offering – the Cadillac Celestiq EV – three years ago, and it has finally arrived.
Like others, Cadillac is searching for ways to evolve and grow within the car industry.
So, it turned to the world of luxury EVs and unveiled its new offering…in 2022
However, the first Celestiq has only just now been delivered to its owner, over three years later.

Cadillac unveils its newest flagship
The Celestiq is a very interesting vehicle.
Not only is it the new Cadillac flagship, but it represents a dramatic shift for the American brand.
The luxury sedan is, as you may already know, an all-electric (EV) offering.
But it’s also the first-ever model sold that was assembled at the GM Technical Center (GMTC).
October 2022 would see the maker finally unveil the production version of the Celestiq.

Its dual electric-motor, four-wheel drive layout has made a big impression on the car world.
The brand-new sedan comes with two electric traction motors as part of its powertrain.
These electric motors produce a combined power output of around 600HP.
Now, the first Celestiq has seen the light of day, having recently been delivered to its new owner.
Each Celestiq is handmade and built-to-order
There is no specific information available about this particular Cadillac Celestiq.
Based on the sole image provided, it appears to be finished in a copper-like, bronze metallic finish.
And the lack of specific information actually feeds into why it’s taken so long to be delivered.
Essentially, the Cadillac Celestiq is a low-unit, made-to-order run of luxury cars.

This means that every one is crafted and hand-built according to the individual buyer.
And, at a price of $340,000, the brand rightly wants to make sure that everything is perfect.
The remainder of the orders are expected to be delivered towards the end of this year.
Having been over three years in the making, there will be a lot of anticipation.
