British actress and model Cara Delevingne has just bought Jimmy Fallon’s $10 million house in Gramercy Park, Manhattan.
That’s fair enough, just a celeb buying another celeb’s home.
But what makes it interesting is Jimmy Fallon designed the house himself and you would need a very specific taste to want to drop $10 million on it.

Fallon, born and raised in New York City, is one of the most popular talk show hosts in America and put simply, he decided he wanted his home to look like a talk show studio, with a lot of gadgets and quirky features.
After all, Fallon has spent most of his life surrounded by studio lights and decor so it must feel like home to him.
His talk show host career began in the late 1990s with Saturday Night Live before taking a brief break from TV to star in Hollywood movies like Taxi (2004), Fever Pitch (2005) and Lub Besson’s ‘Arthur’ trilogy.
He eventually returned to television in 2009 and never looked back.
In 2014, he signed a deal with NBC to host his own show called ‘The Tonight Show’ and he’s recently renewed his contract for another five years.
As for the house, Fallon first bought the property in 2002 for $850,000 and turned it from a one-bedroom apartment into a much larger residence by gradually annexing some of the adjacent apartments.
It has its own hair salon, a well-stocked bar, a custom built staircase and even secret passageways.
Nearly every wall in the 5,000-square-foot, six-bedroom house is adorned with vintage wallpapers and artwork, and every room features a mix-and-match selection of furnishings.

The new Cara Delevingne house first hit the market about a year ago with a $15 million price tag.
That’s pretty much bang-on average for Gramercy Park, where you can find one-bedroom brownstones for $1 million or more, and five-bedroom mansions from the early part of the century for $20 million.
