This guy just turned his Porsche Cayenne into a crazy monster truck

From its mustard yellow paint to the crazy spare tire mounting, this Porsche Cayenne monster truck is unorthodox and weird, but it somehow works.

This guy has turned his first-gen Porsche Cayenne into a crazy monster truck.

From the weird mustard yellow paint to the chunky tires, we think it looks great.

It all started with a relatively unassuming stock 2005 Porsche Cayenne.

The owner, Niccoli Motorsports, removed the standard wheel arches and replaced them with off-road ones.

After that, he fitted some chunky off-road tires, round off-road lamps on the front bumper, and replaced the standard headlights with yellow ones.

At the rear, he fitted a massive bull bar, which also integrates the spare tire.

For some reason, he then decided to cut a giant hole through the trunk lid to accommodate said tire.

The Porsche Cayenne monster truck is unorthodox and weird, but it somehow works.

Visually, at least.

But the best part about it is the color.

Niccoli decided to go for a bright shade of mustard yellow to make the car stand out.

And it does just that.

It seems the first-gen Porsche Cayenne lends itself particularly well to people with enough time and talent.

It’s relatively cheap to buy and it’s reliable, which is why we’ve seen so many videos of people doing crazy things with it.

The first generation Porsche Cayenne was launched in 2003 and it’s often regarded as a lifeline for Porsche.

The company was in dire straits before the Cayenne came along, but the SUV sold like hot cakes and helped the brand get back on track.

It was available with several different powertrains, including a 4.8-liter V8 and a 3.0-liter diesel.

These days you can find one for less than $10,000 – or even $5,000.
