Lady Gaga will star in the upcoming Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, confirmed the news with a post to Instagram and Twitter on Thursday.

Fans will have to practice some serious patience, because the movie’s not set for release until April 10, 2024.

That’s a long time to wait.

But if the Joker sequel’s anything like the first movie, it will be well worth it.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, the movie grossed more than a billion dollars.

It was the highest-grossing R-rated film ever produced.

It was also the most profitable film ever based on a comic book.

And it’s safe to say fans are more than excited about the second installment.

Fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate the news, with one saying “you will make history again, this role was made for you”.

The pop star has some incredible fans, who she fondly calls her ‘little monsters’.

In fact, some have even made NFTs of the singer.

And while some are wonderful, more than a few are weird.

And when we say weird, we mean it.

Some of this stuff is seriously bizarre.

From Lady Gaga as a dog, to the popstar’s head in a glass bottle from Futurama, her fans really let their creative juices flow with some of this digital artwork.

Lady Gaga NFTs

While Lady Gaga has nothing to do with most of these NFTs, she actually worked together with an artist last year to create her very own NFT portrait.

It’s a recreation of The Death of Marat by Jaques-Louis David in 1793.
