C8 Corvette has wowed the masses
When General Motors got together to update its supercar, it decided to make some changes.
For one thing, the C8 Corvette is the first one to come with a rear mid-engine layout.
It is also the first to come without a traditional manual transmission.
The marque’s decision to change to a mid-engine layout met with particular praise, because it has massively improved the car’s handling and steering abilities.

Chevrolet’s flagship sports car also boasts a 0-60 time that’s below three seconds.
A key issue that had always plagued American cars was the inferior finish on the inside.
The C8 fixes that issue, too, with an upgraded finish and feel.
Chevrolet also took inspiration from fighter jets for styling the interior of the eighth-generation Corvette.
Reviews believe this now offers owners a modern, comfortable feel.
2026 Chevrolet Corvette Colors unveiled – and one stands out
As is normal with most marques, Chevrolet isn’t sitting on its laurels.
In fact, it’s already begun unveiling some new color options for the 2026 Corvette.
The American brand has unveiled a new shade called “Blade Silver Metallic.”
It’s a striking tone of silver that very much glistens and makes the car stand out.
However, it’s the second color that got the public talking en masse.
This second color is called “Roswell Green Metallic” – and it’s stunning.
It’s difficult to compare this new shade of green to an existing color
And, in many ways, that’s what makes this color all the better.
The new shade makes the C8 look so striking and aggressive.
More importantly, it makes the car look extremely unique and stylish.
Score one for Chevrolet in the paint job department – because they have stepped it up.
