One of the long-lost Chrysler concept supercar models, the ME Four-Twelve, once touted to give its European competitors a run for their money before mysteriously vanishing, has been recreated, and we need it.

During the Noughties, European models monopolized the sports and supercar industry, only really being rivaled by America’s Dodge Viper.

But Chrysler once had an ace up its sleeve in the form of the ME Four-Twelve.

Sadly, it never saw the light of day. That is, until now, as one creative group has reinvented the long-lost supercar that must get picked up by Stellantis.

The ME Four-Twelve was America’s big shot at cracking the supercar market wide open.

It boasted a quad-turbo V12 engine capable of 0-60MPH in under three seconds and a top speed of 248MPH.

But it was painfully halted before its mass production order. Some inner-sanctum members of Chrysler claimed that it wouldn’t be able to compete with the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

However, one concept is rolling back the clock and bringing the ME Four-Twelve into 2025, and it looks incredible.

Created by Abimelec Design, they took the original ME Four-Twelve blueprint and slipped on a Koenigsegg rear wing to dress it up in an aerodynamic bullet.

A new American blue and white interior is paired with a ‘turbine bronze’ color palette as a throwback to the Chrysler golden ages of the ’60s.

The creation was to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chrysler, which the company itself did in a rather ‘subtle’ way with a new Pacifica edition.

“Regarding this render, it’s an idea we’ve played with before in here. A slightly modernized version of the ME4-12 concept car – a possible ‘what if’, had Chrysler launched this thing,” the group said on Facebook.

The company has faced a few issues of late, despite its decade-long journey, as its big EV plans were thwarted this year.

Still, there are a lot of positive signs in the American brand’s future, and this Chrysler concept could be the key to its big comeback.
