This sprawling warehouse in Alabama was packed full of old vehicles with more than 40 classic cars and even an old train.

The incredible barn find was housed in a former train station that had since been converted into a storage space for old cars.

It’s unclear how long the cars had been parked but judging by the thick of layer lying on top of them, it’s safe to assume it’s been a while.

But looking beyond the dust there are some incredible hidden gems tucked away, including a DeTomaso Pantera, a first-year Oldsmobile Toronado, and numerous Lincolns and Fords.

The huge collection of classic cars had some hidden gems

There are plenty of epic car collections out there, such as the one owned by a British businessman known as ‘Mr Lock Up’ who owns more than 400 cars, including 24 Aston Martin Lagondas, or the man from Maine who had to build his own showroom to house his 200+ cars.

Meanwhile, out in Alabama, the elderly owner of this collection revealed that it was actually started by his dad back before it ended up in his possession.

The super-sized collection of classic cars was given the once over by car enthusiast Richard Rawlings, the owner of Gas Monkey Garage and star of the Fast N’ Loud TV series.

And what a collection it was. Some of the vehicles are genuine bits of history, such as a 1959 Cadillac limousine that was once used by the governor of Alabama, or a 1932 steel-body Ford that the owner had held onto since he was a teen.

Many of the vintage vehicles had been bought new by the owner

There were several old Dodge trucks, plenty of Mercuries, and even a couple of Audis.

Rawlings told the owner that one of the main reasons for the visit was to check out the DeTomaso Pantera, which was bought new back in the 1970s and was still in pretty great shape, despite spending so long off the road.

Another highlight of the huge collection was a cool custom motorhome that had been built by the owner’s dad back in the 1960s.

The one-off RV was based on a Ford Econoline but came with its custom-built body and had a full motorhome setup inside.

The owner also pointed out some old trains cars and engines – not something you see every day.
