A global celebrity and the world’s first soccer billionaire, Cristiano Ronaldo can afford basically everything and anything he wants.
Most players are long retired at 40, but Ronaldo is still playing, still scoring, and still chasing records.
And he’s paid handsomely to do it.
Reportedly earning $280 million a year at his Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, Ronaldo owns 40+ cars, but there’s a reason why he doesn’t actually drive anymore.

Cristiano Ronaldo genuinely doesn’t know how many cars he owns
Cristiano Ronaldo owns several Bugattis, including the Centodieci, a Ferrari Purosangue, a Bugatti Tourbillon, and a long list of other cars.
How long? We don’t know because even he doesn’t know.
Speaking to Piers Morgan in an interview published on both Morgan’s and Cristiano’s YouTube channel, the newly minted billionaire admitted he doesn’t actually know how many cars he owns.
“I don’t know… 41, 40. I don’t know,” he said.
“Yesterday I drove home with my new BMW, but I’ve not driven in Saudi Arabia in like six months.”

Ronaldo explained that he doesn’t really drive anymore, mostly because his schedule is so busy that being driven everywhere removes one element from his to-do list.
But also because most of his cars are investments, and he basically only drives his ‘company’ car, which is a BMW.
And wait until you hear how he ‘justified’ owning a private jet.
Why Ronaldo bought a private jet
Ronaldo was honest and straightforward about why he owns a private jet.
“I buy [a plane] because I need it, because I’m not a normal person. I cannot be in airports. I buy because of that,” he said.
He’s not wrong, of course.

There are several reasons why celebrities use private jets.
Because they can – that’s an obvious reason.
But privacy is probably the biggest reason.
Imagine Ronaldo going through security and checking his bags at an airport: he would be stopped for a selfie or an autograph about a thousand times between the departure hall and the gate.
