Bugatti has delivered the first-ever Centodieci to a customer, and it’s $8 million of pure motoring heaven.

This is the first of just 10 Centodieci hypercars that will be built.

First shown at Monterey Car Week 2019, all 10 examples of the Bugatti Centodieci were snapped up immediately after the launch event.

Each is priced from €8 million – which is about US$8.36 million based on current exchange rates.

Earlier in the year, a Japanese dealership listed one of the 10 build slots for sale at an eye-watering $14 million price tag.

It has the same W16 engine as the Chiron, but the handling package has been specifically tuned to give the Centodieci a unique feel from behind the wheel.

Bugatti Centodieci and the EB110

The Bugatti Centodieci is designed in homage to the French brand’s original hypercar from the 1990s, the EB110.

And this first customer car is the perfect spec to pay tribute to the EB110.

Based on the Chiron underneath, this first Centodieci comes painted in ‘EB110 Blue’.

Not only was this the signature color of the EB110, but it’s also the color of the Bugatti factory it was made in.

The wheels are painted the same Sport Silver as those on the EB110 as well.

An EB110 prototype also broke pricing records for the model earlier in the year, selling for $2.1 million at an RM Sotheby’s auction at Amelia Island, Florida.
