The soccer icon has revealed that he’s had a shift in how he views his legendary supercar garage, once a car-lover’s playground, it’s now seen as a curated gallery.
His latest purchase wasn’t meant to be driven, but displayed, and it’s clear that what once started as sheer love for fast cars has evolved into a calculated investment plan.

When you’re a celebrity with the kind of wealth of a soccer superstar like Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s not surprising that his multimillion-dollar car collection has become more of a display than a wealthy man’s playground.
In a recent interview, Ronaldo explained that when he brings home a new high-end vehicle, it’s not for the road, it’s for the collection.
He said, “I bought a car three days ago… it’s for a collection. It’s like you buy a painting. I’m not going to drive that car. It’s an investment.”
He described models from Bugatti as ‘different beasts’, underscoring the rarity and exclusivity factor behind his choices.

Today, his mindset has changed, and he even admitted he doesn’t keep track of the count anymore: “I don’t know… maybe 50. 60. I don’t know.”
He also noted that, despite the size of the collection, he rarely drives the cars currently, choosing instead to view them like artwork displayed in a museum.
This shift mirrors his broader approach: “When you reach some level, the money doesn’t matter anymore… But it’s always good to have more because we are human beings.”
