For car lovers, Tennessee is an important state, but the exclusive Crown Rally event ended in tears after a fire destroyed supercars in a trailer.

The incident was reported by a fire department in the state after cars caught fire, with no injuries reported.

The driver was alerted to the fire by a passerby, but sadly, the cars were destroyed, including McLarens and Corvettes.

In other parts of Tennessee, though, cars are being discovered after being hidden away.

The Crown Rally in Tennessee ended in shock as a trailer fire destroyed supercars

The Crown Rally is an invite-only supercar celebration event that was set to take place this week.

The car event is so prestigious that it’s invite-only, with many supercar lovers travelling from far and wide to get there.

But for some supercar lovers, the Crown Rally event ended in tears as a fire reportedly caused damage amounting to $1.5 million.

The Chattanooga Fire Department shared information about the fire that occurred on September 18, 2025, in Lookout Valley.

“Green Shift companies were called to the QT gas station on Browns Ferry Road for a vehicle fire at 9:45 AM on 9/18/25. A transport trailer was fully involved on arrival,” explained the fire department.

It went on to explain that firefighters went on to extinguish the ‘burning trailer with five vehicles inside’ after the driver was alerted to smoke coming from the trailer.

“He pulled off the interstate and into the back parking lot of the QT. When he checked inside the trailer, he spotted the cars on fire and called 911,” the statement further explained.

The trailer that housed Corvettes and even an Audi R8 was sadly destroyed, and reportedly, the owner of the property and the trucking company are working on cleaning up the fire remnants.

It’s not all bad, though, as the fire department explained that there were no injuries.

In Tennessee, there are car lovers discovering new things every day

In Tennessee, there are cars constantly being discovered.

In fact, thanks to the US’s rich muscle car history, vehicles from the era are slowly coming back to the surface in the form of barn finds.

One guy in the state well and truly hit the jackpot when he discovered a junkyard full of over 30 classics with a plan to sell the vehicles on.

Plus, another lucky car enthusiast found a 1979 Pontiac Trans AM deep in the depths of Tennessee with almost perfect interior and a mere 4,000 miles on the clock.
