This unbelievable collection of custom cars is worth millions of dollars and is a real treasure trove of unusual one-off builds.

The Galpin Speed Shop in Los Angeles, California, ‘specializes in period-perfect hot rods, customs, and restorations of historically significant cars’.

This means that there are some pretty unique cars tucked away inside.

In fact, you’d probably struggle to find a more creative and quirky collection anywhere in the world.

The car collection is packed with one-off vehicles

We’ve seen some pretty amazing custom vehicles, such as this one-off Dodge Charger, dubbed the Willomet Charger, this motorcycle that has been kitted out with a V12 engine from a Lamborghini Espada, and this guy who made his own off-road Tesla Cybertruck

However, it’s rare to see an entire collection of custom vehicles like the one you’ll find in Galpin Speed Shop

The collection is closed to the public, but Chad Hiltz – better known as Bad Chad on YouTube – took a trip out there where he was able to get up close to some of the unique builds.

Galpin Speed Shop’s Dave Shutten kicked off the tour by showing off a green 1932 hotrod that he lovingly restored from a barn find shell into the incredible vehicle it is today.

Steve says that the vintage vehicle is pretty much his ‘daily driver’ – but it’s soon clear that most of the other cars aren’t exactly the sort of thing you’d seen out and about.

Many of the vehicles have appeared on TV and in films

Such as an actual Batmobile – a modified Lincoln Futura – from the 1960s Batman TV show, which is one of only three ever made.

Or the eye-catching ‘Munster Koach’ that appeared in the 1960s sitcom The Munsters and really has to be seen to be believed.

Steve hails it as ‘one of the coolest cars on the planet’ and he’s not wrong, is he?

There’s also an incredibly eye-catching ‘Pink Panther’ limousine with a baby pink fluffy interior and matching high-gloss pink paintwork.

Elsewhere Chad takes a look at a truly one-of-a-kind ‘bed buggy’ – basically a bed, complete with leopard print sheets, on wheels. Who wouldn’t want one of those?

All in all, we reckon you’d struggle to find a more interesting and wild car collection anywhere in the world.
