This beautiful, bright red Lamborghini Countach has been with the same family since it was bought new in 1989 and is a very unlikely daily driver.
The Lamborghini Countach 5000 S cost its original owner $136,000.
But you could argue that the family got its money’s worth.
The car has spent almost four decades, and more than 30,000 miles, in the same family and is now driven by the original owner’s son, Anthony, who still gets plenty of use out of it.

The Lamborghini Countach 5000 S has been passed down to the original owner’s son
Anthony recently sat down with the guys from the Magnacars YouTube channel, where he revealed that he could still remember the day his dad came home with the brand-new Lamborghini Countach 5000 S.
The car was snapped up in 1989 and came with wide fenders, a $4,000 rear wing, and bold Pear Red exterior paintwork sitting on 15-inch gold wheels with Pirelli Cinturato tires.

From the factory, the Lambo had a European front bumper, but the owner decided to swap that out for the bigger US bumper option.
A window sticker for the Lamborghini showed that back in 1987, the owner parted with $136,000 to get his hands on the stunning supercar.
Refreshingly, the Lamborghini Countach has never been a garage queen.
Anthony said the car had been taken on trips to Toronto and Montreal.

The owner even allowed his son, Anthony, to use the car to take his date to prom, and allowed him to drive pretty much whenever he wanted.
Fast-forward almost 40 years, and Anthony is now the proud owner of the Lamborghini and, much like his dad, he makes sure to drive it often.
The man says he’d never part with the car despite some big cash offers
Anthony said that over the years, he’s had many offers for the Countach, but that he absolutely refuses to sell.
“I wouldn’t think about selling it,” he said.
Instead, he said he plans to keep driving the car for as long as he can, and that so far, it’s been a very reliable vehicle.
“It’s just one of those cars I’m going to hold on to until I can’t drive it anymore,” he added.
Anthony explained that he makes sure the car has regular oil changes and that while he has forked out for some work on the Lamborghini, he’s fairly confident carrying out basic maintenance himself.
For him, the Lamborghini is more than just a car; it’s a member of the family and one he plans to continue to spend a lot more time with.
