This is the story of Steve and his run for a Lamborghini Murciélago, a simple-looking story that turned out to be a pretty wild ride.

Steve, known for his YouTube channel Steve’s POV, was on a mission to buy a perfect car for his son, who had always dreamed of owning a Lamborghini Murciélago.

This search led the young boy to hunt a yellow Murciélago on Facebook Marketplace.

Despite the unusual wrap, the supercar looked absolutely stunning, and the duo knew they wanted it.

Hunt for a Lamborghini Murciélago

As the story continued – it was also covered on YouTube by VINwiki – Steve noticed something odd – the seller seemed a bit questionable.

But when Steve checked the seller’s Instagram, he discovered that the seller was actually following him.

However, after reaching out, Steve learned that the car had already been sold to someone else a few weeks prior.

But the seller, a fan of Steve, contacted the new buyer and requested that if he ever wanted to sell the car, it should be to Steve.

True to his word, when the car was available once more, Steve was given the first chance to buy it, to which he instantly agreed.

Finally purchasing the supercar

On January 1, 2022, he and his son went to check out the Lamborghini.

When everything was going smoothly, the new owner received a phone call from Las Vegas with an offer to pay $5,000 more than Steve’s offer.

He even sent the money up front to secure the deal, breaking his promise to Steve.

Despite this, Steve increased his bid to secure the car.

The car was finally brought to its new home, and the wrap was removed. What hid beneath was a stunning satin black 2009 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640, originally sold in Las Vegas.

The car had been beautifully customized, making it a perfect fit for Steve’s POV.

The story ended with Steve and the original owner becoming friends, leading to a few more car deals, including a beautiful Supra.
