This dealer immediately regretted offering a customer a $200 discount on a Porsche Panamera.
When a customer showed up at George Saliba’s dealership, he had his eyes on the Porsche Panamera GTS, but there was one thing about it he didn’t like.
As a result, Saliba gave him a $200 discount – it’d been sitting at the dealership for 45 days, so he was keen to move it on.
However, this deal would result in a rare case of seller’s remorse.

This dealer came to regret giving a $200 discount on a Porsche Panamera
Initially, when the buyer came to the dealership, he was deciding between a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and a Porsche Panamera GTS.
Ultimately, he opted to go with the Panamera.
There was only one issue he had – the PPF was peeling off the door handle.
George Saliba, the dealership’s owner, offered up two options – a $200 discount or to fix the PPF issue before selling it to them.
Fixing the issue would set the buyer back $80.

So ultimately, the buyer took the $200 discount and headed off.
However, once Saliba took a closer look at the door handle, he found no peeling at all.
“I think I just took $200 off for nothing,” he lamented.
It was a faint layer of wax left behind from a detailing job that had made the buyer and his partner think there was peeling.

At any rate, a car was moved along, and somebody got a $200 discount.
It’s not quite a win-win, but it’s not exactly a lose-lose either.
That’s the world of business for you.
Inside the world of George Saliba
A lot of impressive cars have passed through Saliba’s dealership over the years.
There was this Lamborghini Aventador and this Dodge Durango, which left its owner petrified.
With his online presence, it’s fair to say that Saliba has a reputation for knowing his cars.

When he’s not selling cars or acquiring them, he’s showing off cool features on cars, like this electric G-Wagen.
