This 1963 Chevrolet Impala once belonged to rapper Eazy-E before turning up for sale on eBay years later.
Eazy-E – real name Eric Lynn Wright – bought the vintage vehicle in 1993.
The rapper held onto the Impala until his death in 1995.
Fast-forward a few decades and the classic Impala turned up on eBay where it served as a bit of a time capsule.

The classic Chevy Impala appeared in several music videos
Plenty of rappers like to splash the cash on high-end cars – such as Meek Mill and Travis Scott – and it seems that Eazy-E may have had an eye for a classic after purchasing a beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Impala.
The Impala, which was produced the year before Eazy-E was born, even appeared in several music videos – so it’s earned itself a spot in music history.
It was listed for sale on eBay back in 2022, with the seller stating he had paperwork from the Department of Motor Vehicles that proved its previous famous owner.
The seller – mopar6930 – didn’t reveal where the car had been since the mid-1990s, but it was in pretty good shape overall.
Its paintwork was a little worn out and tired looking, but nothing a quick respray wouldn’t fix; while its bumpers had been re-chromed a decade or so earlier so were shining away.
Eazy-E appeared to have taken good care of the vehicle
Inside, the Impala was in a similar solid condition with its interiors and seats looking neat and tidy – albeit in need of a cleaning.
The dashboard and steering wheel were also in tip-top condition and the seller had even chucked a Compton hat and old cassette tape onto the front seat – really adding to the car’s ‘time capsule’ vibe.
The listing didn’t share what state the engine was in, but given how well-maintained the rest of the Impala was, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume it was in good nick.
Regardless, this classic Impala would be an amazing addition to any collection thanks to its incredible history – here’s hoping it ended up with someone who truly appreciated it.
