After unboxing our fake Land Rover Defender from China, we decided to put the dupe car through its paces by comparing it to the real deal in an uphill off-road challenge of pure power.

The Defender is one of the best off-road vehicles on the planet, having mastered British countryside, American farms, and everything in between.

But would this Chinese dupe, bought by our team for just $4,000, be able to do the same?

Well, this 45-degree climb was enough to rule out whether the fake car was anything like the real thing.
