Ferrari in New York City has uprooted and moved its showroom, but only across the street.

The prestigious dealership has reportedly decided to change shop in the Big Apple.

But in reality, the move isn’t far at all.

So, why bother moving at all? Well, let’s dive in.

Ferrari is a world-renowned car brand

Ferrari has been building supercars for many years, and its cars have attained iconic status.

The brand is even considering bringing back a feature that’s not been seen on its cars for a dozen years – the shift stick.

It has some famous fans, too – and F1 star Lewis Hamilton reportedly wants to create a modern version of the Ferrari F40.

But, for any New York residents, you may want to listen up as this auto news could affect you.

Ferrari’s New York headquarters are moving

According to Ferrari itself, the showroom re-opened in 2019 after being overhauled to include the first Tailor Made Center in the north of the country.

“The showroom regularly features recent Tailor Made & Atelier creations celebrating both contemporary design, as well as drawing on key moments from Ferrari’s storied history,” states the website.

However, there is a catch to the big shift in showrooms

The big move isn’t actually that big at all

You see, although the showroom is moving, it’s only to a location across the street.

It’s moving from 410 Park Avenue to 425 Park Avenue across the street on East 55th Street.

The move consists of swapping its current place of trade for 7,6289 square feet of space spanning over two levels in L&L Holding Co’s building on Manhattan’s Park Avenue

David W. Levinson, the chairman of L&L previously said: “Ferrari is making a strong marketing move and wanted to have the best showroom in North America.”

Plus, he also said that along with the architect of the tower he always thought of the space as a being a car showroom.

The current showroom is open by appointment only on weekdays, with the city’s clientele enjoying browsing and designing their own spedy powerhouses.

Ferrari is the designer of a powerful fleet of cars with notable creations including the SF90 Stradale, Purosangue, and Roma.

The autos are a dream purchase for many, but the question remains – will you be visiting the new showroom if you get the chance?
