The first Bugatti Mistral in America has been delivered to a lucky customer in Florida.

As the last model to feature the Bugatti W16 engine, the Mistral is truly a piece of history.

While the owner’s identity isn’t known, we can be sure they’re ultra-wealthy considering one of these starts at $5.3 million.

Thankfully, the dealership offered a tour of the iconic car before delivering it.

The ultimate roadster

The Mistral was unveiled as the ‘ultimate roadster‘ in 2022, with deliveries beginning in early 2024.

Even with the steep price of $5.3 million, all 99 models were sold, making this an instant collector’s item set to have an eye-watering resale value.

Pre-production models were spotted cruising through the south of France, flexing just how beautifully this open-top supercar drives.

And it recently set a new record for the fastest roofless car at 282MPH.

Of course, its production is bittersweet, marking the end of the W16 era for the French automaker.

As deliveries begin to take place, the lucky US residents who managed to buy one have been waiting in anticipation.

There’s been uncertainty about whether owners will even be allowed to drive the Mistral once delivered.

A white model with a blue interior just arrived in Florida, and the dealership offered an up-close tour on Instagram.

Inside the Bugatti Mistral

Its exterior is white, with a French Racing Blue interior and detailing, also spotted on the street in Naples.

One such detail is a center line that runs along the entire car, from its hood, through the interior, to the W16 engine at the rear.

A seemingly small touch like this added $55,000 to the owner’s bill, mind you.

At the back, the brake light has been homologated to include the Bugatti lettering in the light strip

Then there’s the legendary W16, which produced a whopping 1,600HP.

Another special touch is the Bugatti Dancing Elephant, symbolizing the balance of strength and delicacy.

Even the dealership sales manager will never know what it feels like to get in the driver’s seat.

With a price tag like this, only the owner gets to sit behind the wheel.
