Man buys his first Porsche 911 at 28 years old and admits it's the most fun he's ever had driving

A 28-year-old decided to stop dreaming about owning a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet and just buy one – the internet is both impressed and a little jealous.

While he didn’t actually plan on buying one just yet, he figured ‘life’s short and depreciation is forever’.

Now, he’s explained exactly why owning and driving the car is so much fun.

He’s also revealed what it’s like to park one of these machines up in public.

Sharing the news online, he showed off the silver shell in all its glory and revealed what it was really like to sit behind the wheel.

Used_Deer_9285 said about his purchase: “Definitely wasn’t planning on this happening yet, but life’s short and depreciation is forever.

“Picked up a 2022 Carrera Cabriolet a few weeks ago & it’s honestly the most fun I’ve ever had driving something that isn’t falling apart.

“The way this thing grips, the sound, the weird feeling of realizing “oh wait… I actually own this.

“Not sure if I bought it because I love cars or because I wanted to start saying ‘yeah it’s rear-engined’ in every conversation.”

With a starting price of $102,550, the new owner even joked that when he went to pick up groceries, he parked three miles away from everyone else like his Porsche was ‘made of glass’ – but has absolutely no regrets with his choice in wheels.
