A late-night scroll through Facebook Marketplace somehow left YouTuber Alex Gonzalez staring at his own helicopter.

The 24-year-old content creator behind the YouTube channel fxalexg shared the moment in a short clip that encapsulated peak internet energy.

Many of us doomscroll at night, and end up buying useless gadgets we don’t need.

However, this takes things to a whole different level.

Quite a wild Facebook Marketplace buy

The aircraft in question isn’t some polished, air-ready machine.

It’s a small, decommissioned helicopter rocking a bold shark-mouth decal.

It looks like it flew straight out of an action movie… or a very ambitious go-kart track.

According to Gonzalez, it’s not functional, not flying, and definitely not about to become his daily commute.

In fact, the helicopter blades can be seen lying on the floor, so it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Instead, it’s destined for a second life as lawn décor, as soon as he figures out where he wants it.

He still needs to deal with his wrecked Bugatti Chiron

Gonzalez openly joked in the video that he has a habit of spending money on, in his words, ‘dumb stuff’, especially on Facebook Marketplace.

And there might be some truth in that.

After all, this is the same man who swapped his pink Bugatti for a plane, only to realize that being a private jet owner ‘sucks’.

He’s also the same person who wrecked his $6 million Bugatti Chiron Pur sport, which was a one-of-60 model, and proceeded to buy a brand new Lamborghini SVJ to cheer himself up.

In fact, fellow YouTuber Mat Armstrong has been trying to rescue the crashed Chiron, but that’s another story altogether.

So yes, impulse buys are definitely in the man’s nature.

Given his track record, there’s no telling how long this helicopter will stay in his backyard.

While it’s a ridiculous idea for most people, it sounds like any ordinary day for Alex Gonzalez.
