These Florida men spent $25,000 on a mystery container at a charity auction, and lost it when they discovered which car was sitting inside.
Slava Ismailov and his friends, the team behind Slav’s Adventures YouTube channel, had taken quite the gamble with this purchase.
After all, they had no idea whether a diamond or a dud was sitting inside this container.
But at any rate, their reaction when they opened it up was anything but understated.

This $25,000 mystery container generated a big reaction
Buying a car sight unseen is a very risky move.
There are obviously times when it works out for the best, as it did for the YouTuber who spent $20,000 on an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, or the man who bought a Fiat 500 Abarth for less than $2,000.
But it’s by no means a sure thing.

This Texas YouTuber quickly learned why nobody else wanted his ‘dream car’.
And then there was the $33,000 DeLorean that had this man wishing he could turn back time.
So how would Slava have fared with his $25,000 mystery container from a charity auction?
Once inside the container, they found a car covered by a sheet, building further anticipation.
Would this be a worthwhile payoff or a total disappointment?
Well, when it was uncovered, he began shrieking.

But don’t worry, these were shrieks of joy.
They’d landed themselves a lime green Ford Mustang.
What did this YouTuber have planned for this Ford Mustang?
Although Slava never specified the exact model of the Ford, he did say he was planning to run it on high-octane fuel.
That leads us to believe that this isn’t the base model.

And what makes us say that?
Well, the current-gen Mustang and its predecessor come with a V8 and a ‘tiny’ 2.3-liter EcoBoost.
We can’t quite imagine he would bother with high-octane fuel if it was going into an EcoBoost car.

“It’s green, it’s fast, and it has a good sound!” Slav concluded.
“What else do we need from the cars?!”
It’s hard to argue with that kind of logic.
