After this Florida millionaire was forced to ground his plane for three months, he’s now opened up about the costs of fixing a private jet.
Planes are notoriously tricky to keep in mint condition.
They require more care than cars and need to be perfectly safe to pilot at all times.
But this comes with higher bills, and the costs of fixing a private jet can sometimes be astronomical, even for the smallest repairs.

Florida man outlines the costs of fixing a private jet
Instagram personality and popular supercar enthusiast Alex Gonzalez recently traded in a pink Bugatti for a new private jet.
Citing that he needed something for regular long-haul travel, the Bugatti was the sore loser in this man’s impressive garage to be traded out for a jet.
But he quickly found that these aircraft take a lot of money to stay active.
Taking to Instagram, he claimed that the costs of fixing a private jet are roughly priced at $30 an hour, excluding any parts.

So far, the plane has been grounded for three out of four months that he’s owned it.
While it’s not clear how many hours are being spent on the repairs, if you consider a 9-5 labor job for up to 12 weeks, the maximum costs would be $14,400.
This may seem steep, but some jet owners have been on the receiving end of seven-figure bills.
How much has he spent on the private jet?
This isn’t the only expenditure that he has accrued with this plane.
He continues to say that the plane costs $15k a month to own and another $10k monthly to have it housed in a hangar.
Many others post similar findings, with another plane owner candidly revealing her costs.

Still, knowing how much Bugatti charges to maintain its supercars, the cost of fixing a private jet probably doesn’t come as a big surprise for this man.
